Today the New World devs gave us downtime for all servers to fix the horrible war lag. They also addressed time desync issues, and hopefully these changes actually worked this time.

After that patch they later added additional documentation for a change they added last second in the patch which reduces all rent by 90% for all players. They also made companies generate more rent from the amount paid to compensate for this.

This is a huge change in New World and will last until the December monthly release, which will likely be right before christmas.

Also in other news the New World mini map addon got gutted to be compliant with the AWG terms of service for this game, which makes it MUCH SAFER to download and use now. I would still use at your own risk, but the odds of getting your account standing in trouble just went down significantly with this change!

Finally more down time is coming today for U.S. West servers which also has me worried that we may see more downtime randomly for other servers in the coming hours and days, stay tuned for more!
