91 SIF SON REVIEW | TOTW SECOND INFORM HEUNG MIN SON PLAYER REVIEW FIFA 22 ULTIMATE TEAM
FIFA 22 91 Second Inform (Team of the Week) Heung Min Son player review. Thanks for watching and below is a more detailed review of the card, please leave any suggestions for reviews you would like to see in the comment section.
Pace – Although 88 acceleration for a winger at this point in FIFA is not the best, Son never actually caused me any issues when it came to breaking through defences. I would still recommend using a chemistry style to get that pace boost, especially one that boosts acceleration.
Shooting/attack positioning– Son’s shooting is very impressive in game. As a stat, it is pulled down in rating by his average volleys and penalties. His attack positioning always put him in spaces on the edge of the defence to go through on goal. Son is a great player to shoot with from both inside and outside the box as he has 90 finishing, 90 shot power and 91 long shots.
Dribbling – Similar to his pace, I thought Son’s dribbling might cause me a few issues in game. Surprisingly though he felt a lot better than other players I have used with similar dribbling stats. Although his balance still was not great, I would not say he felt clunky or difficult to change direction with. His ball control and dribbling were also great and he never gave the ball away from a bad touch when moving in possession. This might be because he has a unique body type which does make him feel different to use compared to other players if FIFA even if they have very similar stats. Composure plays a big part in his shooting and passing accuracy plus his control of the ball whilst under pressure. With Son having 91 composure this is rarely a problem you will face in matches.
Passing – Another area that surprised me was his passing. Son’s crossing was really good for me and felt a lot better than some of the other wingers I have tried so far this year. His vision and curve make it possible to pick out closely marked attackers to give you a chance on goal. His short passing was also great and you could probably get away with using this card as a central attacking midfielder if you wanted to. His long passing was not quite as consistent but it is still usable in game.
Defending – Son does not offer anything defensively, so if you like your wide players to come back to help the defence he is not the best option.
Physical – The only positive to his physicality stats is his stamina which at 92 allows you to run down the wing all game without him getting too tired. With him being 6’0 it is a shame his jumping and heading accuracy are so average because he gets matched up with fullbacks most of the time which are usually smaller compared to central defenders. His strength and aggression are both quite poor which can make him easy to push off the ball.
Set pieces – Another area that is a weakness of the card. 75 penalties on a 91 rated attacker is disappointing as he has the potential to let you down in penalty shootouts. His freekicks are also very average so you will need someone else in your team to take them and corners.
Skill moves and weak foot – Having a 5 star weak foot is a massive positive for any player in FIFA, especially an attacker. It is not just in front of goal where this is beneficial though, with hi being right footed on the left side it also means that I am crossing in the ball on his weaker foot. But with him having 5 star it does not suffer from a decrease in power or accuracy. With the amount of new attacking cards being released, 4 star skill moves is becoming the required minimum for players now so it is good that Son has this.
