A Big Thank You! 2000 Subscribers & More.
Just thought I would do a special video to acknowledge that I now have over 2000 subscribers to my YouTube channel and I would like to thank all of you for subscribing. I tend to like to be different because rather than rolling in the acknowledgement with a video review. I wanted to say thank you properly and run some model trains in the background as token of thanks. The two model trains running on the track is my Hornby Class 60 numbered as 60008 in EWS livery (hence my handle name being EWS60008) hauling a MkIII "Dreamliner" train that is formed of 8 MkIII carriages and a MkIII which are all in Virgin Trains livery except for the RFM Buffet car which is in the Wrexham & Shropshire/Intercity Blue/Grey livery. On the inner line, the freight train consists of the super detailed Bachmann General Electric Class 70 numbered as 70003 in the Freightliner livery that is hauling a fuel train that consists of 12 Bachmann TEA 100-tonne tanker wagons in BP (British Petroleum) and Amoco livery of which the latter four Amoco wagons are a recent addition to my test freight train and just sits nicely on this basic layout without looking cramped. In the soon to be finished train yard, there is a second Hornby Class 60 in DB Schenker livery numbered as 60040 that still retains its "The Territorial Army Centenary" nameplates from which it received in 2008 from its special commissioned "Maroon" livery which Hornby have modelled this locomotive in its 2008 livery which has been reviewed by "Class66Rocks" on YouTube if you wanted to check out his review. I shall be reviewing this one later this year once I have sorted out a few bugs which will be all clear soon. The other locomotive in the yard is my Hornby premium Class 08 Diesel Shunter that I reviewed last year that is parked next to my Hornby MkIII DVT in the Virgin "Pretendolino" livery that is also a "Code 3" repaint and not to be confused with the model that came with the Class 90 set. I shall be doing some "running" session videos as well as reviews in addition to real railways, aviation and hopefully some footage of some sea vessels as well as I would like to film some freighters and some oil tanker ships as new additions. So I am open to suggestions and requests if you want to see anything running on this basic layout. Just post a comment or send me a PM and I will see what I can do. Meanwhile once again I would like to thank all of you for subscribing and thank you for helping me achieve this new goal of 2000 subscribers.
