I wrote this little piece a few years ago for @vianovachor, inspired by the hauntingly beautiful words of Emerenz Meier. Her poem about a darkening forest filled with lurking dangers deeply captivated me. I aimed to capture that slow descent into darkness, as the bird songs gradually fade into silence, preparing us for what lies hidden beneath the night.
