1 - On an alternate Earth, Mark copes with his father Nolan's betrayal. Scientist Angstrom Levy escapes through a portal, and a month later, Mark faces challenges as Invincible. Cecil appoints Immortal as the new Guardians' leader, adding Bulletproof to their ranks. The Maulers, with Angstrom's help, try to transfer memories from alternate versions to advance Earth's tech. Mark intervenes, leading to a chaotic confrontation. Angstrom's multiversal powers cause havoc, and in the end, he vows revenge on Mark and escapes, driven mad by memories.
2 - During his graduation, Mark defeats Doc Seismic and faces tension with his mother Debbie, who confronts Cecil and learns about the survival of Ferguson. Eve's attempt to build a park leads to a collapse due to unstable ground. The Martian stowaway becomes the superhero Shapesmith after inspiration from the original Guardian member Martian Man. Mark, assigned by Cecil, battles a kaiju to appease the Atlanteans, saving them against orders. Meanwhile, Angstrom travels to an alternate Earth to gain information on defeating his own captured version of Mark.

Vought CEO Ashley Barrett deals with the aftermath of Luke's suicide at Godolkin University. Cate and Sam, manipulated by Vought, incite chaos by having captives kill non-Supes. Marie gains control over her powers, and Sam, haunted by hallucinations, allows Cate to remove his emotions. The group is framed for an attack, and in a mid-credits scene, Billy Butcher investigates the aftermath at the Woods.
