The story continues right where AC1 ended. Desmond Miles is rescued from the clutches of Abstergo and taken to somewhere safe, where he is now supposed to help fellow Assassins to fight the modern day Templars by entering "Animus 2.0" and living the memories of legendary Assassin....Ezio Auditore da Firenze!

ACII is, in my opinion, the best AC of the whole franchise (Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla remain to be played). This was probably the peak of the franchise as well. The whole world in ACII feels like I've been THERE....feel very connected to me! And without a doubt....the best soundtrack I've ever heard! Ubisoft created something so special, that many have been trying to emulate the same success....even Ubisoft itself!
