I continue to be impressed by the environments and soundtrack as we finish episode 2 and go into episode 3, though they'll have a hard time topping the Escher Labs.

The Erebus Reactor was a bit remarkable just for being such an overall simple layout, while still managing to be an interesting level if you bother looking for secrets. Due to the enormous draw distance, however, any pixelization setting over 2x becomes a real issue. Also, repeatedly falling into lava was annoying as hell.

As opposed to the final boss of the first episode, the end of episode 2 is no joke. It was actually quite a difficulty spike, and tends to turn you into your own worst enemy.
