I am happy to report that the Escher Labs were not a one-off and the game was not done playing mind-games yet after the previous session. The back half of the final episode does some pretty interesting stuff. (I realize this is vague, but I typically try to avoid spoiling too much endgame stuff in video descriptions lest you see it before you get to watch or play it for yourself.)

The final two levels (especially the second-to-last) do present another sizeable difficulty spike, however, including the closest thing this entire game has to a slaughtermap. It certainly presents a challenge but I'm a bit worried it might not be for everyone. Depending on how much easier the lower difficulties are, perhaps the game carries more reasonable expectations of the player then.

I did not find any of the three secret levels during my initial playthrough, so I'll be doubling back for those in the next session!
