A K-pop singer and an actor Jung Yoon-Hak was confirmed positive with coronavirus on the 7th.
He first made his debut as Supernova through the Mnet program ‘M!Pick’ in 2007 and worked not only as a singer but also as an actor in SBS’s drama “Fate and Furies.”
He is the first Korean celebrity to publicly test positive for Covid-19 and it has been reported that a woman he was in contact with works at a room salon in Gangnam.
A representative of Yoon-Hak said, It’s true that this woman who was diagnosed with COVID-19, is an acquaintance of Yoon-Hak’s, however, they met at another location.
South Korea began enforcing the new quarantine policy on April first, a mandatory two-week quarantine for all arrivals from overseas, in a bid to curb a steady rise in imported cases of the new coronavirus.
Yoon-Hak is currently receiving criticism for not spending two weeks in quarantine after returning from abroad.
