Lighting and shadows of this kind apparently suffers big time with YouTube's 1080p compression algorithm... Uploaded in 4K here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDFjPHciQP0

This was my first project in UE4. Played around with the engine. Lots of subtle randomness were implemented into the scene.

Balls have physics properties, they bounce and collide with the platform and each other. They spawn in time intervals with random sizes, colors and glow amount. They also spawn on slightly different positions with a small random amount of push to any direction.

Each platform spins in a random direction with random speed.

The spotlight changes to a random color and intensity in time intervals.
