A Day in the Life With Non-Newtonian Fluids (Fun with Oobleck)
Hello everyone, welcome to a very different video for my channel! This was a video we did for a AP Chemistry final, which we did on Non-Newtonian Fluids, most notably Oobleck and a little bit on Flubber!
This video is starring my good friend Keith, who did the experimenting while I did the camerawork and editing. You can check out his channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLbvPUSD6pdjiyAMeEqA80Q
Oobleck is made of nothing more than cornstarch and water. This video shows some experiments we ran on the oobleck, showing off it's properties as a shear-thickening fluid, meaning that it flows under no stress, but hardens when a force is applied.
This video also includes some goofs and silly bits to keep it interesting. Expect more content and spinoffs of this content in the future. Trust me, we recorded a LOT of footage.
