To celebrate the 4th Anniversary of the Dead Space Necroposting group I'll be doing another speedrun challenge (the whole run was streamed in the Necroposting discord server along with several members being in the VC!) and doing it in a standard-type (without despawns or skips that could influence the events). Only Level 1 suit, Plasma Cutter and whatever stuff I find across. At least this is one is 1 hour shorter than the Impossible Barebones :D

Glitchless Casual Barebones Speedrun conditions:
- Game MUST be on Casual Mode.
- You can't use the Store to buy/sell things and the Bench to upgrade.
- You can ONLY use the items that you find around.
- You can use Power Nodes to open up locked doors in order to get loot.
- No glitches are allowed in this speedrun category.
- Bugs can be used... but I haven't used them (well technically the Ch.10 one isn't quite sure if it's considered a bug as if you open the door but you don't get in while dealing with the necromorphs that are already in that area).
- The footage needs to be recorded in one take.
- You can change the fps of the game, in which I did lowered my Hz from 120 to 60 at the chapter 8 before doing the ADS cannon section in order to not have the game crashed.

P.S: This time I had some company and also had members of the Dead Space Necroposting watching the progress. This was the third intent where the holy body from Chapter 1 decided to fall off the grid and bless the run into a win! I haven't tried out the allowed skips and despawns strategies in this run as I did wanted to make it like Racker's run, fair and square (well Ch.10 part does make the additional enemies not spawn but I do have to wait the same amount of time for Kendra to open up the locked door).

UPDATE (24/02/2022):
This run is officially the current world record of the Glitchless Casual Barebones category! So far this could be the limit for the standard run and probably some glitchless strategies might be implemented by future runners in order to get a quicker timer. Can't wait to see it!
