Big the Cat (Voiced by Kyle Hebert in English as of 2010 and Takashi Nagasako in Japanese as of 2003) is a large purple cat who first appeared in the 1998 Dreamcast game Sonic Adventure, where he was placed to justify the presence of a fishing rod in the game, although he was conceived beforehand. Big is a large, purple anthropomorphic cat, who is depicted as—while unintelligent—sweet, easygoing, and physically strong.
