A Farewell to the PNW - Travel Montage | Washington & Oregon
3After a week full of exploring the Pacific Northwest it was now time to begin our drive back towards Seattle. The Nisqually Lodge is a great place to stay while exploring the southern portion of Mount Rainier. This lodge was rustic, had a cozy fireplace in the lobby and welcoming staff.
Although we didn’t have much time left within Washington we decided to take a short drive through the city to take in some views. Thank you to everyone who tuned in over the last couple of months to this travel series. In total my father and I drove over 1400 miles and explored rugged coastline, rainforests, mountains, volcanoes and waterfalls. This lush environment features nearly every type of geological formation and offers something for everyone.
