Welcome to the island country of Katronan.
Long ago the mighty and kind king of this large land ruled in a just and fair way, which won the heart of his queen.
Together they had five children. Two daughters and three sons.
The sons, Ziyad, Had’dar, and Perciver, were each trained to become king one day thinking that only one would rule everything. However, on his deathbed, their father told them the truth.
Their father split the island into four regions with the last remnants of his power with the help of a long lost relic. This meant that the three sons would have to rule their own kingdoms, and while Perciver and Had’dar were fine with this, wanting to honor their father’s wish, Ziyad was not too keen on the idea.
Ziyad, the youngest out of all the children, spoiled though he was, became king of nearly the entire northwest region of the island, which he named Lancaster.
He thought for sure he’d rule the whole island, but when he was not given what he wanted, he quickly started war after war, trying to gain more and more territory however he could.
Had’dar, the eldest son, and the king of the southern kingdom, Peloton, would not stand for his brother’s childish outbursts and did everything in his power to stop Ziyad’s warpath, and he did, nearly every time before things could get even worse. But he couldn’t have done it without the help of the middle brother, Perciver, though he tended to stay out of fights.
Perciver was a mediator and peacemaker, the thought of fighting always upset him and put a foul taste in his mouth.
He ruled the lands to the East, but when a great fight broke out and part of the island sank into the ocean, his kingdom, Vegalla, went with it, though nothing, and no one, was lost. With Perciver’s magic, he was able to create an underwater kingdom that was a safe haven for any and all refugees from any of Ziyad’s wars.
As of this moment, the last war started three years ago and only lasted a year and a half.
