It is stated that blendOS 3 “Bhatura” beta, which comes with a host of new features, takes its code name from the delicious “bhatura”, an Indian bread that Saraswat loves. Saraswat said that “Bhatura” now uses installation ISOs for updates; states that he compares the timestamps to detect them. Saraswat stated that to drastically reduce the update size (only to download changes between the previous and current update), Zsync will be used in the stable version and support for modifying DEs will be added; said that on a successful update, a dialog is shown at login to be able to distinguish between normal boot and update. Saraswat; that many bugs in the installer have been fixed, resulting in an extremely smooth installation with a partitioning guide.
