Debian 11.7, which has a large array of updated packages mostly related to security and other bug fixes; It contains fixes for security issues, along with a few fixes for serious issues. It is reminded that this point release does not create a new version of Debian 11, but some of the packages it contains have been updated. It is stated that packages can be upgraded to current versions using an up -to-date Debian mirror. It is stated that Debian 11 Bullseye users, who normally update via security.debian.org, do not need a new installation. In order to keep their installations up to date, but only to run the sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade commands in a terminal emulator on a regular basis.
