As will be remembered, May 3, 2022In , we reported that Daniella Fore, founder and CEO of elementary OS, announced that elementary OS 7.0 was codenamed “Horus”. As always, the new version comes as the most important part of AppCenter core operating system, it is stated that AppCenter now also installs operating system updates offline, ensuring correct restart of important services and avoiding weird crashes or version mismatches during update. Coming with GNOME 43, the new version improves dark mode support, Flatpak portals like the local file picker, as well as fixes bugs and increases reliability.
