Dawntrail added the "facewear" slot with several pairs of glasses that you can wear outside of the dedicated head slot, meaning you can now have glasses and a hat at the same time (what a luxury!). The "Classic Spectacles" are only obtainable from Free Company submarine expeditions, so they sell for a lot on the marketboard. Originally they were going for about 3 million gil, but last night I checked and they were only about 1.6 million, so I bit the bullet and bought them, hoping they looked nice. A lot of the ones from the Gold Saucer kind of look like crap.
