A Forgotten Japanese RPG that You Can Play In This Video: Lord of the Crystal
Throughout 1989, the Japanese video game magazine Marukatsu PC Engine published an RPG called The Lord of the Crystal in its pages. This "mail-in RPG" was in a style common in Japan in the late 1980s but now is almost completely unknown. On top of that, if you didn't play it when the game was being printed, then you missed your chance.
Until now.
I have recreated this RPG that was played once by roughly 200 people in 1989 and adopted it into a form that you can play by watching this video and keeping a character sheet nearby. This lost game has been recreated in a way to preserve the experience.
The character sheet can be found at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NcbWKGkrf8REZ-Qr4iB5jpwYVzIN1Wy0/view?usp=sharing if you do not want to write your own.
