A Forlorn Conclusion - Episode 9: A Sign of Things To Come (A VRChat Production)
6Episode 9 sees to Calon making his way to a different bar to follow-up on a lead on information that could shed light on Mangolins fall from fair graces. Understanding what happened while he was dead could provide some closure to that part of his life as well as insight as to what to expect going forwards. The bar’s considerably more rowdy than he’d expect, though, with a corrupted anthro in his midst.
The next day, while taking a walk through the Market Square, that Calon is treated to a very different phenomena than what he’d been used to up to that point. A “Demon Surge” takes place, as bystanders and passerby all run for cover, with Calon left oblivious as to what’s happening until it’s too late.
Camera work is shaky in the second half of the video due the cameraman forgetting to turn on the motion stabilizer. Sorry about that. Tried using a program to mediate that, but the attempts I made made the footage look way too distorted.
A Forlorn Conclusion is a film series being uploaded to YouTube, broken up into episodes for your viewing pleasure. Filmed almost entirely on VRChat through the use of improvisational actors from all walks of life, this is an ongoing project following my novel and story ideas with bursts of creative input from the cast. This was really just a passion-project that I embarked upon months ago with the friends I made on VRChat as I took on being a movie-director as another one of my hobbies.
I’d just like to say thanks to everyone for being a part of this project and making all of this possible. I greatly appreciate your collective efforts and time spent in the making of this film series, and hope we can keep it going to the end, because there’s a lot more to come.
