Ahh… Paradise city. Full of jumps, races, fast cars and motorcycles and the best part of it all?The crashes.

Burnout Paradise doesn’t have a story mode, which honestly? Was absolutely perfect for me this time around. It was nice to take a break from hour long stories that can leave you, upset, exhausted and sometimes even a little too emotional and! It felt so good to take something this pretty and wreck the hell out of it.

I don’t have much to say about Burnout Paradise, other than it took me longer than expected to get a hang of the controls, mainly that the mini map was really confusing and I really didn’t like it throughout my game play.

I clocked about 9 and a half on this game and it was a lot of fun, but with no story mode, it can get really repetitive after awhile, even with the 5 different race modes, which are the classic races, burning route, road rage, the marked man and stunt run.

Road rage and the marked man were my favorites for obvious reasons… the crashes

Not that it matters so much but, I’m gonna give Burnout Paradise a 5 out of 10 and despite that mid rating, I’m gonna say that it’s about worth playing for awhile, losing a few weekends to and worth wasting time for. With some great music, beautiful car crashes, basic controls, sweet cars and to which I’d like to say, I’m honestly not much of a car guy or a race guy for that matter, but Burnout is definitely gonna open me up to different type of gaming world that I’m absolutely looking forward to… but… for now….
