After a series of crazy events, Nathan Drake finds himself alone in the middle of the desert, you know, in the only way that Nate would end up there, by falling out of plane.

But before we get into the rest of the story, let’s start with some of things I didn’t like, which honestly, aren’t real issues and basically me nitpicking.

Let’s start with puzzles… yeah they seemed way harder this time around, wasn’t ready for that, anywho, the slow motion, this is probably the dumbest complaint I’ll ever have, I’m just not a fan of slow motion, thanks a lot Michael Bay and Zack Snyder. Moving on!

The last little bit I thought was worth mentioning was the shooting, for some reason in this game, it never really felt like I mastered it, I don’t know how to explain it but it just seemed a little more difficult this time around.

Ok, that’s enough of that, let’s get into the fun stuff.

This is one insanely fun game from beginning to end, this whole battle against the pirates at the ship graveyard was just so much fun and is probably one of my favorite parts. Just putting that out there. Normally, I’m not a fan of flashbacks, it just seems like a lame way to add more time to something that doesn’t really need it, but when it’s so well written and so well done, it’s kinda hard to not acknowledge it, they did great and it was awesome to see a younger Nate and Sully.

In my opinion, not that that matters so much, for me, the Uncharted franchise sets the standard for sequels, completely out doing itself every time. The voice acting, the writing, directing, the music, the story, the visuals and of course, most importantly the game, everything from top to bottom is just absolutely incredible.

I still have hundreds, maybe even thousands more games to play, but for now, I can confidently say that the Uncharted series is probably gonna be one of my top five favorites and Uncharted 2 and 3, are easily going to be in my top 10 favorite games of all time.

I couldn’t believe this game came out 13 years ago and with me being 13 years late, my rating shouldn’t matter so much, but I’m gonna give Uncharted 3 a 9 out of 10 and I think 3 is going to be favorite out if the series so far. I’m not sure how to explain it, but for whatever reason, this game just felt a little different, not in a bad way, I did look it up and they’ve had the same director on all 3 games and the same writers for the most part, it just felt like a step in a different direction if that makes sense. Maybe more grounded and less supernatural…? I don’t know. I still have one more adventure left with Nathan Drake and I’m honestly not looking forward to it, in a good way, because it’ll mean the end of this incredible journey… but for now.
