A generic Sonic 1 ROMhack (Sonic 1 hack)
1Yet another ROM hack, this time by CHRdutch. The hack mainly focuses on level design, to make the levels feel fresh even though you're playing through the same levels again. I'd personally say this is slightly better than Sonic 1 Alt. Even the different music per Act made this hack very good. Though, Marble Zone Act 2 and beyond were still the same, so I cut them out in the video and skipped to the ending. (Yes, I did play through the entire unchanged levels to get to the end.) New levels were added in a later version of the hack, which was named "Sonic the Hackable".
