The original Saints Row was released on 2006, 2 years post GTA San Andreas and 2 years prior to GTA 4 giving people that open world criminal fix. Despite being a "GTA Clone" the game carved its only identity pretty quickly by mixing in genuine drama with absolute absurdity. While I enjoy SR2 more, and I think most do, SR1 is still a fun game and its a game I wanted to revisit for a time now.

There appears to be some screen tearing on this video. Not entirely sure why but its something I hope to fix for future videos. Hopefully its not too distracting for this first part.
