A Journey to SAVE MY SON! | The Forest - FULL GAME!
3Instead of making you watch 10+ videos, I made one hour-long video of the entire game from start to finish, with chapters. This video took ages to make. We have a gaming session every couple days, only play for 1-2 hours each night and the game is very long.
I got so bored, in fact, that most of the video is loaded with
endless shenanigans. Including a ton of skits, and even a song.

--Storyline--
Okay, so I'll explain the story-line to the best of my
ability for those who may not have fully understood what just happened.
So, it starts with a plane crash. After hitting the ground, what I didn't
put at the start of this video, is that a strange man is actually present
carrying Timmy, and takes him away. Which kick-starts the game.
That strange man turns out to be a Doctor, who ran the laboratory
that we explored. That Doctor is also Megan's father, who was the one who took Timmy in order to sacrifice him on that machine to save his daughter. But in a strange turn of events, Megan became enraged and killed her father with a box of crayons, because those who are resurrected by that machine aren't their normal selves anymore, as we can see both Megan, and Timmy, started having seizures shortly after.
But Megan Transformed into a mutant when we arrived, which can only mean Timmy is getting closer to having the same fate.
as we can see in the final cutscene when he has this strange infection
pulsating through his veins. The Device we activated to shoot down the plane was a giant EMP device, and the reason we used it was to also kick-start this very adventure for other unexpecting families. We caused the same crash that happened to us to someone else, in order to save my son. Just like how the doctor wanted to save his daughter. Only this time they probably won't be lucky enough to find a katana next to a body.. Good luck to them I guess.
At least they can use the sh*t-stain we called home. To wrap this summary up, at the very end you can see that Timmy grew up to be an alcoholic and obsessed with the island that nearly took his life. There are papers and documents everywhere showing different outcomes and sites of the lab, which I assume is there to imply that he's working on exposing the truth of this island as well as to cure himself from this infection.
Which is probably to set us up for the next game.
--Alternate Ending--
Also, I searched up what the alternate ending was so I could determine
whether or not it was actually worth doing since this video is way too long already, and in my opinion, it's not worth achieving in this playthrough, so I'll just explain it here. Pretty much all that happens is that
you shut down the EMP, take an elevator down, break
through the cave, slide out to freedom, a short cinematic cut scene plays;
showing the plane you could've shot down flying over head, and you burn Timmy's photo signifying his death and you letting him go. Then use Megan's Keycard to open the Yacht, Find an artifact in there, go to one of the caves to find an obelisk, use the artifact to get ANOTHER artifact, which then you can use to either attract every cannibal and mutant on the island, or you can use it to make them all passive. The second ending is just so you can continue with your builds and enjoy the game. I'm glad it exists. The developers deserve a cookie.
