A Learning Experience With Flashpoint! - Overwatch 2 (PC)
1Another thing introduced in Season 6 of Overwatch 2 is a new game mode called Flashpoint! This is a mode that has been introduced as a regular game mode to Quickplay and Competitive, along with the other game modes such as Escort, Control, etc. In this map, there are five flashpoints that appear on the map, but only one will be active at a time. Both teams must fight for and capture the flashpoint and defend it for a certain amount of time from the enemy. The team who successfully captures a flashpoint will earn one point, and the first team to earn three points wins.
For a limited time, Flashpoint is available in Arcade mode for people to try out. I haven't practiced this mode before, so this will be a (rather rough) learning experience!
