A legacy worth celebrating: Oblivion and Discworld
Oblivion was a video game that Terry Pratchett absolutely loved. He was fond of its world, its sneaking mechanics (he considered it a spiritual sequel to the Thief games), and its modding scene, which he became an active part of. He even based one of his books, in part, on his experiences playing the game.
But his connection to the world of gaming runs much deeper than that: three point and click adventures were produced based on his work, and through his daughter Rhianna, he's profoundly connected to the likes of Overlord and Tomb Raider.
If you want to find out more about this, the story was beautifully reported by Cian Maher over on Eurogamer some years back: https://www.eurogamer.net/the-story-behind-the-oblivion-mod-terry-pratchett-worked-on
