Its day 3 and Hao is starting to worry cause he talked to his father to verify that he is indeed kidnapped and need help but by the why his father talked to him he is starting to wonder if his dad will pay. Hao looks around and find its just him and the younger girl who is busy reading some sort of book. Hao finds that being unhappy makes time go by very slow and even finds that the rope he is tide up with is very durable. Hao's thought is interrupted when he coughs and realize he might have caught a cold over the last few days. He ask for something to eat and see the younger girl taking out a steam bum and is disappointed but eats any way cause he is hungry. Younger girl is surprised to hear that Hao can cook cause she thought he had people who cooked for him and took his food to his room. Hao start to see how the younger girl sees him and how there imagination of him living a rich life is misleading. Younger girl ask Hao isn't he rich cause everything he says make it sound like he isn't, he tells her he isn't rich but his father is. Younger girl tells Hao what she would do if she was rich but he ask her if someone does everything for her what will she be left to do on her own and this question stops their talk and the younger girl walks off to think about what Hao said to her. Hao notice that he isn't feeling well when he wakes p again and knows by the soreness of his body and his fever that he caught a cold.
