The Chasm Underground Mines is once again infested with dark mud and mud-like oozing substances which are causing a lot of trouble in the area. An event NPC named Hosseini who happens to be a Sumeru researcher will ask for your help in cleansing the vicinity. The gadget Lumenstone Adjuvant will become a valuable tool in this event as well as the Sumeru technology called Pursina's Spike. One quest or event challenge will be unlocked each day from Day 1 but completing the preceding one is required before you can unlock the subsequent quests. There are various types of quests or event challenges and they are as follows:
Transportation Test - Basically a defense challenge where you need to prevent enemies from attacking the Pursina's Spike during the alloted time. Dark mud near the combat area will buff the enemies therefore using your Adjuvant's "Blooming Light" ability to disperse the dark mud will help in weakening the enemies and make the fights easier. You can restore your Adjuvant's energy by interacting with the objects or mechanisms within the field. Challenge will be completed if the Pursina's Spike is not destroyed and all the enemies are defeated.
Automated Charging - Prevent the Pursina's Spike from getting interrupted in its charging process. Using the Blooming Light will also help speed up the charging time but enemy attacks will temporarily stop the spike from operating.
Circulation Theory - In this challenge, the Pursina's Spike will continuously release shockwaves to aid you in combat. Cleanse the dark mud concretions in order to ensure that the spike doesn't stop from operating.
Emergency Escort - Secure a safe passage for the Pursina's Spike as it is transported via hot air balloon to a secure destination.
Continued Cleanup - A combat mode where you need to score as high as possible by defeating waves of enemies during the time limit. The Pursina's Spike can also be used to aid you in combat during this challenge.
Event Unlock Requirements:
Adventure Rank 28 or above
Complete the World Quest "Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering"
Obtain the Lumenstone Adjuvant in the World Quest "Chasm Spelunkers" and upgrade it to Level 2.
