In Part 4, Amicia and Hugo are chased through the streets of the town by Conrad Malfort and his posse. When all seems lost, a kindly old woman takes them in and gives them new clothes.
The siblings follow their mother Lady Beatrice's last wish and head to a nearby town in search of a doctor named Laurentius. When they arrive in the town, they find the villagers are terrified of something and are burning people in the town square, spurned on by a man named Conrad Malfort, A.K.A the biggest jerk in France.
