I was messing around with leaving the Great Plateau early, and found out that this one cliff near where you get Ganon's horse just randomly kills you! The reason for this is that there's a trigger floating in the air around the plateau that's supposed to zone you out when you fall through it. Turns out this spot on the cliff just puts Link high enough to touch the trigger.
