This is a game I randomly found on Steam recently, and I've enjoyed the gameplay enough to think why not make a video about it? It's a top-down rogue-lite action adventure that seems to take inspiration from Binding of Isaac and Dark Souls / Sekiro.

It's apparently set in a dark fantasy version of ancient China, with demons and magic. You have to fight with various weapons in a careful, methodical way to not get steamrolled by groups of enemies or bosses. Timing, distance control, and dodging are essential.


The perspective has quite a retro feel, reminiscent of PS1 games like the first Grand Theft Auto and Loaded / Reloaded for instance.


 And yeah, the developers clearly didn't mind using the aesthetic value of the female form to potentially boost sales. ;)
