A Really Great Gamecube Find At The Local Goodwill.
29So I find a GAMECUBE for $5 after discount. I take it home it works for a while then stops. I decided to open it up and found a mod chip in it!! I take it completely apart and find the problem. The wiring harness and some solder connections had come loose. I'm surprised this thing didn't short out when I turned it on yet a lone work for a little while. I re soldered the connections and reassembled the GAMECUBE. I turn it on and it booted right up into the cobra bios! I thought I would be stuck at firmware 1.0 because I did not have the programmer to update but I forgot I could update via DVD. I now have a $5 GAMECUBE with a VIPER GC EXTREME mod chip running bios 2.1. I got a few other things at this goodwill as well. I will share those later.
