We're diving in and playing the awesome war simulator World of Tanks! This fantastic game features a primary gameplay mechanic of capture-the-flag style victories with large teams piloting various makes and models of tanks from multiple countries.

The game tanks are modeled after real world vehicles thru WWII. There are various classes of tanks: Heavy, Medium, Light, Artillery, and Tank Destroyers and each individual tank has its own list of pros and cons which give each its own character.

There are ten tiers of tanks that determine the battles you are in. This helps balance the battles regarding strong tanks versus weak tanks, and sometimes new players versus more experienced players.

After being away for a few years, I've decided to jump in and take a look at this revamped game. Check out World of Tanks today too! It's free!
