DunJungle is an indie, Action Roguelike Roguevania, a 2D, Pixel packing, RPG Dungeon Crawler with Procedural Generation and fun Hack and Slash Action! It’s good!

Think Splunky, but you’re a monkey! 🐵
An angry, ripped monkey trying get back his HuMan!
Less fleeing the reaper, and more ripping and tearing the good old ape way!

DunJungle reminds me a bit of CaveBlazers, another awesome sidescrolling Action Rogue like, but here, items have mostly short cooldowns, as opposed to being depleted after a certain amount of uses, and
the movement is not as fast, but the action is more zoomed in, and you have inherent abilities as a angry ape monkey man, like a mad monkey overhead smash! And a double Jump!

You lvl up as you Hack and Slash your monkey way through the Jungle Dungeon, choosing from one of 3 upgrades every time; things like increased dodge, attack, hp, impactful stuff like that that can meaningfully shape the run.

PermaDeath is present along with the Procedural Generation of the Dungeon environments, but you keep your diamonds, crafty monkey that you are!
DunJungle flows a bit like Rogue Legacy, but absent the legacy and castle building, and more diamond hunting Monkey who likes the shinnies! 💎
The diamonds are the Meta currency, what you retain after each run through the Jungle Dungeon, the DunJungle, and can be use to access more powerful starting weapons.

The DunJungle feels great, with fast and fun fights, and interesting things to find, like Treasure rooms full of gold, gems, and items, traps, mimics, and more!
And the traps work on enemies too, so trick em into the spikes like a smart monkey!

So, if a Pixel Graphics packing Side scroller ARPG with Perma Death appeals to you, give me and DunJungle a glance, and see this awesome Dungeon Delver in action!
