Disclaimer - I once bought a Genshin Impact monthly battle pass. That's why I said "I have never spent money on characters", rather than just "I have never spent money". This wasn't a big deal, hence why it never got mentioned in the video. It was just a one time purchase made after playing the game for a couple months, at a time when I had no idea I'd end up making a video about the game.
