I've played the slightly older slenderman game - Slender The Eight Pages, and that game scared the shit out of me. The jumpscaryness is insane. Now I finally get to give the new Slendermen game a chance here in Slender: The Arrival and hopefully we'll get to figure this mess out together!
I use a webcam and mic in traditional let's play fashion to record commentary and reactions as I play Slender the arrival. It's quite nice, funny and sometimes enlighting... I wish...
Description from the steam store page:
Back in 2012, Mark Hadley (AgentParsec) created a game that captivated gamers around the world. Slender: The Eight Pages was a short, experimental first-person game that helped breathe new life into the horror genre through its use of unadulterated tension and fear.
Experience the horror all over again.
Slender: The Arrival is the official re-imagining and expansion of the original game created by Mark Hadley, teamed up with the writers behind the Marble Hornets series and the development team at Blue Isle Studios. The Arrival features a brand new storyline, improved visuals, great replay value, and most importantly, survival horror at its best.
In this episode we finally reach the end of the game. The ending of Slender: The Arrival doesn't really explain much and I'm not sure what is actually going on other than the fact that Kate has joined the Slender Army. We walk through a fire forest, we find out how kate was kidnapped and get some reeeeal spook jumped at us. This game really took me by surprise, I did not expect this game to be as creepy as it is. Good job, devs!
