Resident Evil 2 Remake is a reimagination of the classic PS1 game of the same title, Resident Evil 2 that was part of the trilogy that pioneered the "survival horror" genre. After more than 2 decades since its initial release, Capcom has decided to remake the game from the ground up: now using their in-house game engine--RE Engine--to rebuild the game to meet modern expectation and reimagine the horrors that Resident Evil 2 has to offer.
