A Tribute to Cyan Worlds (2005)
12This is a nostalgic look back at the history of Cyan Worlds, creators of Myst, Riven and Uru. It is a celebration of a company that can have a dream, and then make it real, told through editing together clips from the games and making of videos.
I made this video in 2005 when Cyan announced that they were closing down. Later, they got more funding to continue work on Uru, and kept themselves afloat by selling their old games and mobile games. So the video ends on a sad note, even though the company is still doing well and making games. (Also the video quality is very bad; apologies -- it was 2005!)
