A Very Hexy God | Zero Orders Tactics (Turn Based Tactical God Game)
Zero Orders Tactics is a turn-based game where we play as a God who is overseeing a battlefield. We have to help the good guys defeat the bad guys and of course we use our Godly powers, but the twist is that we can't control the people on the battlefield directly, only indirectly.
Each stage sees us dealing with a particular challenge. Sometimes we have to escort some civilians, other times we just have to keep them alive for a set amount of turns. To help we get to summon some fighty soldier types because the enemy have various evil beasties (demons, zombies etc) who are after our civilians.
But all the players on the battlefield look after themselves following a set of rules. Civilians will try to follow a road, rogues always look to hide in forest tiles, horsemen prefer plains, that kind of thing.
But what we CAN do with our God powers is produce units, swap units, cast spells and also swap entire terrain tiles around! If it looks like a demon might attack one of our people we can use God powers to swap the plains they were going to use with some mountains! Boom, defended!
Essentially it's a bit like a sort of pixellated magical Goddy version of chess. Sort of. A bit.

Indirect control - you can't control your units, they have their own pathfinding rules

Replayability and Rogue-lite progression - build your hand with new spells and units every run, and unlock more heroes to start different
(*) 0% random actually means 0% output randomness in the core game. You may still experience input randomness in the core game, as well as various types of randomness between battles. Consult your numerologist before using this product.
