A Wildly Fast-paced and Chaotic 2D Shooter Platformer | Speedollama demo
1Hello everyone! Here we are with another demo of an upcoming game. This is Speedollama, formerly known as Schyzollama (just in case you knew the game by this name), and it is an incredibly fast-paced and chaotic 2D shooter platformer. Looking at screenshots, pixel art, animations and voice acting... I can tell there is a heavy Metal Slug inspiration here... and I love it, being one of the only games I enjoyed as a kid. Gameplay is pretty straightforward, you choose 1 out of 3 llama characters and you go in to collect gems while killing everything in your path (or kill everything while collecting things, however you like it more). Once you get at least 75% of items, you can extract and go to the next mission, where you repeat this process. You can also stay there longer to keep killing, but remember you have a time limit (so far, 5 minutes). In between levels you can get permanent upgrades that you buy with the money you get so you can keep killing faster and more efficiently.
Overall, just a simple and quite fun formula that I really recommend.
