Destroying Hellish Enemies With Our Mighty Hammer In A Retro FPS | The Age of Hell demo
1Hello everyone! Here we are with another demo from the Boomstock Event. This is The Age Of Hell, a retro fps (boomer shooter), where you can choose to play using only a hammer, or go with weapons (plus the hammer). I chose hammer only because I had no idea what I was doing, but later in the video you can see me choosing the other mode to test the weapons. Sound design and graphics are great, combat is pretty fun, until you spend over half an hour doing basically the same at the same speed. I don't think the game is bad, but after some hordes of enemies I felt I was just repeating without any adrenaline, being the cause of it probably the lack of speed/impact. Meaning that most of the time I was swinging my hammer or shooting my weapons, but they didn't really look strong and my movement (and theirs) wasn't particularly fast, thus the lack of intensity. I still don't think it's a bad game, just missing some intensity.
