A WORM THROUGH TIME | Control - Gameplay Walkthrough - ENDING
Hey everyone and welcome back to Control. This is it. The final episode for the main story. Where everything is finally laid out on the table, and Jesse finally confronts her final challenge. Not only did slide 36 start the infestation of the Hiss throughout the bureau, but it also was the beginning of Jesse's journey back in her hometown on Ordinary, as well as the origin of her union with Polaris. All the answers behind the poster are finally here to be revealed.

Now that the main storty is finished I can finally share my final thoughts. Though I did mention my initial thoughts at the end of the video, there are some things I forgot to mention. But first, I gotta say that once again, Remedy Entertainment brought another memorable experience with Control. Though very different than Alan Wake, Control gives the player a chance to explore the bureau in it's open world environment. And the environment is exquisite. As you progress through the game, you see the Oldest House's walls and floors shift as if it's a living breathing entity, which it kind of is. But to see what first appears as a bland and boring federal building show it's secrets and true colors, it's simply amazing.
As for the story, it is important for every new player to know that if you want the most of out this game, you should take your time and read up on all the lore you collect. If I hadn't done that, I probably would've rushed through the game, and have a completely different opinion on the game. Perhaps this is something that the developers should have mentioned before?
Which brings to a downside I had during my playthrough. The characters. Besides Jesse and Ahti, I didn't really feel a connection with the other NPC's. And though I am part to blame for not pursuing most of their side missions, these characters didn't encourage me enough to do so.
Besides that and relentless enemy spam I'd encounter ever so often, I thought the game was fantastic. This game reminded something I thoroughly enjoy. The SCP Foundation. The altered items and objects of power featured in the game appeared to be regular earthly items, but each item and object held a mysterious power that you would never know by looking at it. I found myself questioning the items I saw, like would this hurt me or help me?
And I believe that and the story was what made this experience worthwhile for me.
Thanks for watching! What are your thoughts on the ending of Control and the overall experience? I'm very curious, so please let me know in the comments below. Also, a big shoutout to everyone that has guided me through the game. Not only has Gaming University been an avid viewer and supporter, but he also has a channel that breaks down everything that you may have missed from the game.
