3An ending as disappointing, bleak, and awkward as everything that led up to it. There is much potential in Jalopy, but as it is, I would be lying if I called it anything but a misfire. Some people really seem to like it, though.
There seems to have been some drama over Jalopy and some ostensibly similar driving game called Road to Guangdong from the same publisher. Due to misleading advertising from the publisher, many people thought Road to Guangdong was a sequel from the same developer (Minskworks). This led to Minskworks receiving a lot of online abuse, unfortunately, and to a falling out between them and the publisher Excalibur.
