I want to say first off that I am no expert on the subject, and that also some people are WAY more fanatical about roleplaying than I am. So that for instance, using a turn of phrase that might be common in the real world might be off-limits in the roleplay, and so on. I am not nearly that fanatical about it.

So if you are interested in roleplaying in Skyrim, here's some points of view that I have found helpful. Make use of them if they are useful to you. Also, there needs to be more quality Skyrim roleplayers around, so if you want to try your hand at it you have my pre-emptive applause.

Honestly, no insult intended to anyone because RP is hard, but a lot of Skyrim roleplay is dead boring and I dread that someone might also be thinking that same thing about me. ;) Which, they well might, I don't know. So if you want to try your hand at INTERESTING Skyrim RP, the world needs more of it.
