We still have about a week to go on the adventures of Snoelviflaak in "Spoiled Elf College Brat," but since I am recording the episodes for the new series now I thought I would give you all a sneak peek.

Many of my characters either aren't the Dragonborn or don't know that they are. Henrik knows for a fact that he's dragonborn, but he doesn't care. He hunts and he fishes and he hangs out with his friends. That's what he does and that's what he wants to do. This is who he is.

I wanted to do a more laid-back and less plot-driven playthrough. Mostly just Henrik wandering through the world hunting and fishing and hanging with his pal (coming in Episode 2.) Most of my characters, and I would guess most characters in Skyrim period due to the nature of the game, are not particularly very nice guys. They are violent and ambitious. Henrik is a nice guy. He doesn't stir up any trouble unless it comes to him, aside from the trouble involved in his main activity, hunting. I also wanted to do a Survival playthrough so aside from fast travel off-camera, the Survival mod will be active and he will be affected by hunger and cold. He is not interested in alchemy beyond the potions he needs himself, not interested in enchanting or magic generally, and despite the impracticality of it he wants to make what money he needs off of selling pelts and such. Basically I wanted to do the opposite of the usual megalomaniacal power-mad character and just do a guy, and a fairly nice guy at that. He's not looking to be a hero, and he's not looking for trouble. He's chill.

I wanted there to be dragons, so (mostly off-camera) he went through all the steps in the Main Quest far enough that there would be plenty of random dragons, but no further.

Like I said, Snoelviflaak still has a week before his story comes to its power-mad conclusion, but I am recording Henrik now so I thought I would give a sneak peek.
