I'm tired of people who criticize this great musician with extreme hypocrisy, and this is my opinion, if I was a musician and lived at that time, no matter how patriotic I would do the same, no matter how much I wanted to go. the only reason to criticize Nugent is because he is not ideologically aligned with the current established power, like the people who, for example, have tried many times to throw us the channel and have clung to any far-fetched and ideological nonsense for it. One of the things I like of Nugent is his love for nature, a hunter, yes, true love by nature not like vegans or animalist millenials who do not even know what it is to camp next to a fire because they have not left the city in their life. Ironically he has ended up being more hippie than many other musicians of his generation who in the now days have turned pro globalization. He is not perfect but i think he had this type of old sould that modern world lost many decades ago
