Assassin’s Creed Unity is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released in November 2014 for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One, and in December 2020 for Stadia. The game features a historical recreation of Paris in the late 18th-century at a roughly 1:1 scale. The player takes on the role of Arno Victor Dorian, a young Assassin who has joined the brotherhood on a quest for redemption. The game is mostly set during the French Revolution but also includes three other time periods for a few missions.
The game features a new parkour system that allows players to climb buildings more fluidly and quickly than in previous games. The combat system has also been overhauled with new mechanics such as “parry” and “dodge” moves. The game also introduces cooperative multiplayer to the Assassin’s Creed series, allowing up to four players to engage in story-based missions together
