I really enjoyed making this remix request for TotalBiscuit - I like his video game reviews and other videos that always seem to align with my own views. The mix is pretty strong with a heavy orchestra, and also particularly strong rhythm guitars. The Epiphone Riviera P93 I used for this has a lot of body in it (it's semi-hollow) and I got a reamp that I really liked for it. Never played any of the Ace Combat games, but the beautiful melody in "The Liberation of Gracemeria" theme instantly appealed to me. I liked the idea of switching back and forth between brass leads and woodwind leads.
In all, I used LASS, Lumina for the woodwinds, Superior 2.0 w/ metal foundry for drums, some EWQL SO percussion and brass, and Battery 4 for the breakdown at 3:02. Did some things different with the mastering to make it sound really meaty with the guitars/bass to compliment the more trebley orchestral strings and secondary stuff.
